On Saturday, November 24th, we at Pieces lost a dear member of our family. Joe "Big Blanche" passed away on that afternoon. Blanche performed off and on at Pieces since 1994 in many roles including as the star of her own weekly show, as karaoke hostess, and most recently as part of the Monday night Too Ugly for TV trio. She was a great personality and a greater person. Joe, you will be missed by many.
On January 28, we celebrated Joe's life here at Pieces.
Also, many of Blanche's friends hosted a benefit for Friends for Life in her honor several weeks later.
